I asked one of the members to meet me for coffee one Friday morning and he showed up with a stack of business cards. He offered me to weed through them and see if there was anyone that would be appropriate to invite to Elite Leads.

I had about 20 cards I was able to call on Monday and out of those 20 dials I talked with ten people but eight were interested in attending as a guest and four joined the first time they showed up. That meant I could do half the number of calls and get the same results.

The next Friday and every Friday after I met four people at the same coffee shop, I brought my cards and so did they. From that point on I had no less than 80 cards to follow up on each week and the results were consistent with the first batch of cards.

It was amazing, using someone else’s name as an introduction gave me twice the results as any other source. And one of the greatest results was that the calls were twice as easy. People seemed more receptive and easier to get to know.

Then I discovered something else.
